Flower Power Vellum Cards

Hi! I've just made two cards using the leftover vellum from the Funky Flower Vellum Card. I've attached silk flowers (they are hot items at the moment) and a brad as the flower centre with Glue Arts 1/2" Adhesive Square Permanent to the back of the brad. This will give a tidy finish to the card as the brad spine do not show on the inside of the Card . Both cards I've used MSE Sentimental Rubz (they are actually rub ons and are so cool!) with sentiments on the inside of each of the cards. I find it is lovely to be able to combine Vellum with other crafts....

Funky Flower Vellum Card

I've just completed this card, and enjoyed making this card. The Vellum I used is Pergamano Flower Power Vellum. The flowers are 3D, made from the rest of the Vellum, and applied Stickles to the Flower Centre. I used Glue Arts Transparent Vellum Adhesive in between the Flower Power Vellum and the Ordinary Parchment, notice how they are transparent. This is the best Vellum Adhesive that I've used, believe me I've tried so many....

Japanese Lucky Knot

I did this card on Anzac Day, 25th April 2007. Thought I'd combine what I learned from attending Yo Dawson's Class on Mizuhiki Reeds on 20th April with Parchment Craft. Yes it is a nice to be a student in a Class instead of teaching(for a change)!! I enjoyed making this card, and I've used the Pergamano Fantasy Parchment Red 61586 as my insert. You can obtain this free pattern from this link http://www.pergamano.com/scripts/getfile.asp?id=341
